Can you please tell us a bit about yourself and your music? I’m Caitlin Harnett from Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys. We are a four piece, Americana/Country band from Sydney. We formed in 2015 and have since played a number of shows across Australia and released our first record ‘Late Night Essentials’ 2020.
What is it like being a musician in Sydney? I love the music scene in Sydney. We have a very supportive community of artist and venues and I feel so lucky to be a part of it.
How have you been coping as a musician since the Pandemic? It’s given me a lot of time to write again which has been great. When everything is back to normal we will be playing a lot of shows and working which can make it hard to find the time and inspiration to write. So I’m trying to make the most of this downtime while I can.
And what do you think is next for Sydney? Country music is going to take over. Sydney. That’s what’s next!
